Every day, Leorita Hankerson molds the future. As Assistant Superintendent for curriculum and instruction for Nash-Rocky Mount Schools, she knows that children represent the future of Nash County, and she understands that providing a quality education is vital for future success.
Hankerson worked for the Nash County school system for 8 years before the systems merged to form Nash-Rocky Mount Schools. She earned her degrees from Talladega College in Alabama and from the Teachers College at Columbia University, New York.
