Each year, the Nash Health Care Volunteer Auxiliary gives community members the chance to honor or remember a loved one as a part of its Lights of Love event. For $5, you can place a light on a Christmas tree in memory or honor of a loved one. The trees are displayed in the hospital lobby throughout the holiday season, and the name is recorded in a Book of Remembrance, which is also on display. All proceeds from the event support hospital projects.
