Week of Monday January 30th, 2012
This week is shaping up to be a major transition. The site work is several days behind due to weather last week and the discovery of previously unidentified lines found while digging and installing the stormwater line. The weather is forecast to be very good this week so a lot of activities will be taking place. It is difficult to predict the day of the week for some of the activities with many being “to follow”.
Activities to be completed starting the week of January 30th are:
- Stormwater line to be completed from the perimeter road (after crossing from Rehab side last week) to the new retention pond that has been developed.
- Stormwater drainage line (ditch) to be completed from Circle Entrance along perimeter road to the retention pond. To accomplish this, foot traffic from the gravel lot will be directed via snow fence (orange) and signs to the main entrance to Nash General. This walkway could vary from day to day depending on progress of the drainage line and the reopening of the employee entrance to the parking deck as early as this weekend.
- The remaining 3 employee parking bays located in the front will be closed Tuesday evening and go away. Employees will find parking space in the NGH back employee parking area, NDH employee parking area and gravel lot. After closing the parking bays, lights will be removed and the hard surface removed once approval has been received for the storm water retention pond and drainage line.
- At the end of the week or early next week, the exit lane from Nash General’s main entrance will be closed and all traffic will be redirected to the new widen road that will become two way.
Sometime next week the following site layout will be in place and stay that way for several months.
