Dr. Xuming Dai is a board-certified cardiologist with more than ten years of biomedical research and medical experience. He joins Nash Health Care from UNC where he served as a faculty member after completing an NIH-funded cardiovascular biology fellowship, a general cardiology fellowship and an interventional cardiology fellowship there. His specialties include coronary artery disease, geriatric cardiology, genetic consultation for inheritable cardiac conditions, and general cardiology services.
Dr. Michael Yeung is a cardiologist who specializes in coronary artery disease and valvular heart disease. He joins Nash Health Care from UNC’s Center for Heart and Vascular Care after being educated at the University of Texas at Austin and Texas Tech University School of Medicine. He completed his residency and two fellowships at Washington University in St. Louis and has published and presented nearly twenty articles, books, and case presentations. Dr. Yeung is fluent in Spanish and conversant in Cantonese.
Dr. Stephanie Martin is a board-certified cardiologist specializing in non-invasive cardiology. Originally from Rocky Mount, North Carolina, she attended Wake Forest University. She graduated from University of North Carolina School of Medicine in Chapel Hill, completed her residency at UNC Hospitals and her cardiology fellowship at Emory University in Atlanta. Before joining Nash Health Care, Dr. Martin served as Medical Director of the Cardiac Rehabilitation Program at Vidant Medical Center, and as a Clinical Assistant Professor at East Carolina University.
Dr. Zehra Husain is a board-certified cardiologist specializing in coronary and structural interventions. She has performed hundreds of procedures on patients in both Indian and U.S. hospitals, and most recently served as an Interventional Cardiology Fellow at East Carolina University in Greenville, NC. Dr. Husain has authored more than a dozen peer-reviewed articles and abstracts, and was ranked “best resident’ at St. Joseph Mercy DaHand Hospital in 2008.
Dr. Ruhai Zhou Dr. Zhou is a general and interventional cardiologist at UNC Cardiology at Nash whose particular area of interest is the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of cardiovascular and peripheral vascular disease. He also serves as an adjunct assistant professor in the Department of Medicine, School of Medicine, University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Dr. Zhou has garnered numerous awards for outstanding achievements, including the Resident Teacher of the Year at Yale University. He has authored dozens of published abstracts for academic journals. Dr. Zhou is fluent in English, Chinese, and Japanese.
