Nash Health Care maintains an active schedule of educational classes and seminars across a wide range of topics designed to assist the community in making positive health choices. "Dealing with Hallucinations," a FREE educational seminar will be held on April 15 in the Nash General Hospital Auditorium from 6 to 7:15 p.m. The program will be led by Tracey Dickerson-Taylor, director of psychiatric services at Coastal Plain Hospital. Free Surgical Weight Loss Education Classes are offered to those interested in weight loss surgery and is your first step for entry into our program. The Cardiopulmonary Rehabilitation Outpatient Program (CROP) is a state - regulated, medically supervised and EKG-monitored program designed for individuals with cardiovascular and pulmonary-related complications. Cardiopulmonary Connections is a group that meets every month at the Rocky Mount Senior Center for educational “lunch and learns.” The program is held from

Diabetes Support Group will meet on April 15 from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. in conference room 2 at Nash General Hospital. An informative session about CPR will be presented. For information, call 962-8854.
BRAS (Breast Recovery and Support)
A support group for newly diagnosed breast cancer patients receiving care with Nash Health Care or affiliated providers. Meets the first Tuesday of each month. The next meeting is April 1, where the guest speaker will be Dr Michael Roth of Eckert Pathology, who will be presenting breast cancer pathology reports and explanations.
