Cindy Worthy, RN, MSN, was recently named director of the Emergency Care Center of Nash Health Care. Worthy has also served as the director of Care Management, and most recently, interim Emergency Care Center director.

            She earned her undergraduate degree in nursing from the University of Virginia and her master’s degree in nursing from East Carolina University.

            “The Emergency Care Center at Nash Health Care is one of the busiest emergency rooms in the state, and I am looking forward to the opportunity to work closely with these dedicated nurses, physicians and other health care professionals of our emergency room, ” Worthy said.

            During Worthy’s tenure at Nash Health Care, she has served in several different roles, including vice president for quality, manager of the coronary care unit, director of community wellness, director of cardiac rehabilitation and vice president of community outreach.
