07/14/2008

Leslie D. Hall, RN, MSN, was recently named senior vice president and chief nursing officer of Nash Health Care. Hall previously served as vice president of nursing for Nash General Hospital.

Leslie Hall is a gifted leader and a great patient advocate," said Larry Chewning, president and CEO of Nash Health Care. "She has been a leader in nursing since 1974. I am very pleased to announce her promotion to this position."

Hall joined Nash Health Care two years ago after serving as a chief nursing officer in Syracuse, New York. Hall has worked in several different facets of health care, ranging from intensive care nursing to staff education and nursing administration.

Originally from Connecticut, Hall earned her bachelor's and master's degree in nursing from Syracuse University and has completed additional coursework in health services administration through the Syracuse University Maxwell School of Public Affairs.

Hall lives in Rocky Mount and enjoys golf and other outdoor activities in her spare time.

Nash Health Care is a county-owned, not-for-profit health care system comprised of four distinct hospitals on a single campus: Nash General Hospital, Nash Day Hospital, the Bryant T. Aldridge Rehabilitation Center and Coastal Plain Hospital.
