When you have a medical emergency, every second matters. And what happens during those first few moments can make a life or death difference for the patient. That’s why our dedicated staff has worked so hard to design a system that maximizes response while being considerate of the patients’ needs.

That means setting up the Emergency Care Center (ECC) at Nash General Hospital took careful planning. The result is an exemplary system that allows our talented specialists and staff to take full advantage of state-of-the-art equipment, without wasting any precious time.

That’s why we have an elevated nurse’s station encircled by 11 monitored patient treatment rooms, allowing for constant eye contact and efficient patient/nurse communication at all times. In addition, we have four major trauma rooms, six rooms for minor emergencies, two specially designated for broken bones and an on-site x-ray suite that allows for a quick diagnosis. With a total of 38 different treatment rooms and a qualified staff of proven leaders, we’re ready to react to whatever your needs are, with prudence and promptness. Because getting you back to a healthy life is our top priority.
