Dr. Mann, a native of Germany, finished his last year of medical school at Duke University then completed his residency at ECU. He then received fellowship training in laparoscopic surgery in New York under Dr. Felicien Steichen. His areas of expertise and interest includes Bariatric Surgery (Gastric Bypass, Sleeve Gastrectomy, Gastric Banding, and revision surgery) with an emphasis on Laparoscopic and Minimally Invasive procedures including hernia repair, anti-reflux surgery, gallbladder and biliary surgery and colon surgery.
Dr. Wade Naziri
Medical School: University of Virginia
Residency: Tulane University School of Medicine
After completing his residency, Dr. Naziri went to The University of Dundee School of Medicine in Scotland where he received Fellowship training in Laparoscopic Surgery under Professor Alfred Cusheri. His areas of expertise and interest include Laparoscopic and Minimally Invasive Surgery including Bariatric surgery (Gastric Bypass, Sleeve Gastrectomy, and revision surgery), gallbladder surgery, anti-reflux surgery, hernia repair, and colon surgery.
RN Degree: Kennesaw State University
Physician's Assistant Degree: Trevecca Nazarene University
Originally from Atlanta Georgia, Heuts has 25 years of operating room experience. With an extensive background in orthopedics and bariatric surgery, she has been with Nash Health Care since 2006, and serves as the Nash Surgical Weight Loss program’s physician assistant and clinical coordinator. Two of her family members have had successful gastric bypass surgery, so she understands the challenges and rewards of the entire process. She is a board certified PA and a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and American Society of Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery.
