I wanted to thank you very much for your informative seminar about weight loss surgery. My husband and I both are planning to proceed with the surgery at this location. We also went through a seminar at a large teaching hospital and we actually found your seminar to be much more informative and felt that you do care about the patients overall health.
We were actually planning to start our evaluations at the large teaching hospital next week but after consulting with our primary care doctor, who recommended your program we have decided to pursue the surgery here at NASH.

"Dear God, please don’t let me die on this floor."
Those were the thoughts racing through Ora Pernell’s mind as she painstakingly dragged herself across the floor to unlock her back door, where her son and first responders would soon be arriving. While one arm and both of her legs were not functioning, her mind was sharp and alert. She knew exactly what was happening to her: She was having a stroke.
“I went from being alive to being a piece of jelly within ten minutes,” she said, recounting the frightening event. “Nothing worked but my right hand.” When Pernell arrived at the Emergency Department of Nash Health Care, she benefited from new technology that helped her get the right treatment at a time when seconds were precious.

At 227 pounds I was miserable. I was on medication for high cholesterol, Rosacea and slept with a CPAP because my sleep apnea was so bad. My husband and I have always been very active but with each pound I gained my activity leveled slowed to the point that I was no longer able to keep up with him. I also found myself slowly dropping out of every activity I was involved in because of physical pain. I had plantar fasciitis in my left foot and was receiving cortisone shots in my heel quite frequently. Due to the way I was limping I quickly developed pain in my right knee and ended up wearing a brace. Needless to say I was a mess, both emotionally and physically. During one of my physical therapy sessions the therapist said to me “you know you are fighting a losing battle, your foot and knee won’t heal until you get some weight off and you can’t exercise to get the weight off until your foot and knee heal”. I went home and cried feeling so frustrated with how out of control I felt.

But now, Tami is all smiles because she's 100 pounds lighter, enjoying a healthier lifestyle and spending plenty of quality time with her family. If you’re running low on energy and are really ready to change your life forever, call Nash today.
